CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE – Twenty-one (21) to twenty-four (24) members, representative of all regions of the County, who advise the Executive Director and County Commissioners on child welfare program, personnel policy, etc. Members meet monthly. Members are appointed by the County Commissioners for four (4) year terms. County residents with interest in serving should send a cover letter and vitae to:

MULTI-DISCIPLINARY TEAM – Volunteer professionals from law, psychology, nursing, clergy, law enforcement, education, social services, etc. meet at least monthly to offer multi-disciplinary consultation to Office of Children and Youth staff on child protection cases. Professionals interested in serving should send cover letter and vitae to:

SUPERKIDS of Montgomery County, Inc. - A small, non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to providing the financial resources for educational and enrichment needs of abused, neglected or dependent children known to the Montgomery County Office of Children & Youth.  Superkids was established in 1996 to provide opportunities and experiences for children that build self-esteem, develop life-long interests, and enhance individual strengths and talents.  All generated funds are directed to the children referred by the Office of Children & Youth for support.  To learn more about Superkids of Montgomery County, Inc., to volunteer your time, or to make a tax deductible contribution.
